Requirements

Oxford Nanopore long-range sequencing has very specific DNA requirements. For submission of DNA to the 1KSA program, the requirements are:

​

  • As much DNA as possible (>1μg of dsDNA as measured by Qubit at a minimum concentration of 100ng/μl)

  • Purity ratios as measured by Nanodrop of A260/A280 = 1,8 and A260/A230 = 2 - 2,2

  • Average fragment size >10kb as measured by TapeStation, gel or equivalent
